I am trying to establish contacts with fellow collectors and researchers. My special interest is Estonian Army uniforms and during the years I have written several articles about the topic. Now I am finishing a manuscript, for a book, which will come forth aftre this summer. The book will describe in detail the Estonian Army uniforms during the years 1917-1940.
One other book, written by my is about to be released from the printing. the book is about Estonia's war years 1941-1944. And actually the publisher (www.apali.fi) has asked for more fotos. They will increase the number of the pages.
As a consequency oft hese two separate projects, I have plans for another publication - So I'd need pictures of the Estonian uniforms items or equipment, worn while on German duty. This would include the following: Brethren of Forest 1941, Omakaitse 1941-1944, German Army and SS units, Border Guard, etc.
Of course, I would appreciate contacs from anyone specialized in this field.
