While no definitive decision has been made to leave, four sources within the Defense and State departments said the White House is no longer invested in sustaining a mission that it perceives as unnecessary.

U.S. BASE IN SYRIA UNDER ATTACK

Explosions were heard at the American Kharab al-Jir airport base in Al-Malikiyah, Hasakah.

Initial reports indicate a missile and drone attack.

At least minuscule 3 missiles reportedly hit inside and surrounding areas of the base. Damage and casualties are yet to be assessed.

Sparta IV, a nominally civilian, sanctioned cargo ship left Kaliningrad Apr 15.

She has arrived in the naval base of Tartus, Syria with what looks like artillery and vechicles.
