The state police will evaluate the aggressive behavior of the driver of the "Maybach" limousine equipped with Russian license plates with a gas gun.
The Riga Municipal Police (RPP) announced on Monday that on August 25, around 6:30 p.m., near the Riga International Bus Station, the driver of a "Maybach" car tried to "cut off" the applicant, but the victim did not let go.
After a moment, the aggressor got out of the car and threatened the applicant with insulting words, pulling out a gun from the bag, but when he saw that there were many people around, he put the gun back in the bag and attacked the victim, kicking him with his foot.
In the video footage released by the police, which was taken from the victim's car, it can be seen that the attacker spoke aggressively in Latvian and Russian.
The video also shows that the victim's car is decorated with the inscription "Glory to Ukraine ".
Later, the victim filed a complaint with the police and the municipal police started an administrative violation process for petty hooliganism. At the time of sending out the RPP press release, the identity of the aggressor had not been established, but already on Monday evening, people noticed the limousine on Valdemāra Street and called the police, the Riga municipality police explained.
It has been established that the aggressive leader is a Latvian citizen born in 1970. The information was also sent to the State Police to evaluate the violation of using a gas weapon. The motives of the conflict will also be evaluated.

Today, September 7, around 1:00 p.m., officials of the Road Police Battalion of the Riga Regional Administration of the State Police, while monitoring traffic, found a vehicle on the Vansu Bridge in Riga, which probably had fake state registration plates similar to Russian state registration plates. The law enforcement officers decided to stop the vehicle. During the search, the police found that there was a gun holster in the car. The individual was asked to produce the weapons he was carrying, but the individual refused to do so and was uncooperative with the officers, showing the officers only the permit to carry the weapons he was carrying.
