Prosecutors continue to record the crimes of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the liberated territories of the Kherson region - the bodies of three shot civilians were discovered
This was reported in a telegram of the Prosecutor General's Office.
"Under the procedural leadership of the Kherson regional prosecutor's office, investigative and operational measures to identify and document war crimes committed by representatives of the armed forces of the Russian Federation are ongoing in the Berislav district of the Kherson region, liberated from the Russian occupiers," the post reads.
It is reported that on November 4, prosecutors together with police officers found three bodies with traces of violent death in Visokopylla township. It is known that during the occupation of the settlement, the Russian military shot three civilians and buried them near private homes.
The bodies have been sent for forensic examination. Investigative actions aimed at establishing the circumstances of the crime are being conducted.
"The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the post says.
On September 12, 4 bodies of civilians with traces of torture were found in the village of Zaliznychne, Kharkiv region, liberated from the occupiers.
On September 20, two torture chambers were discovered in Kozachya Lopan, where the Russian army subjected civilians to torture during the occupation.
